Work is set to begin Monday, July 6, on the City of Storm Lake’s Ice House lift station improvement project. Contractors will start by coordinating with MidAmerican Energy to reroute electrical lines at the site before excavation begins.
Once the electrical work is complete, crews will install new manholes and pumps, followed by excavation and removal of the existing lift station. As part of the project, Vista Drive will be closed to through traffic starting Monday, though the bike path will remain open throughout construction.
