Four young ladies will compete for the title of Clay County Fair Queen this coming weekend.
One of the contestants is Linnea Bloom of Marathon. Linnea is the daughter of Stephen and Melanie Bloom. The other contestants are Aubrie Stell, Kamdyn Van Gelder, and Addison Wyman, all from Spencer.
The event will be held on Sunday, April 30th at the Clay County Regional Events Center. The contest will conclude with the pageant, including the self-expression portion of the contest and the crowning at 7pm. The event is open to the public.
The Queen will represent the Clay County Fair at area parades, the Iowa State Fair during the queen contest, selected celebrations during the summer, and the Clay County Fair in September.
