An area long-term care provider is one of 45 in Iowa that have earned the 2025 Bronze Commitment to Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living.
Cherokee Specialty Care is among the recipients.
The Bronze Award is the first of three levels in the program, which recognizes long-term and post-acute care organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to quality improvement and person-centered care. Iowa placed second in the nation for the number of 2025 bronze-level winners.
Award recipients will be honored during the Elevating Excellence Awards Ceremony at the AHCA/NCAL Convention and Expo on October 21st in Las Vegas.
