Cherokee Man Among Several Injured in Osceola County Crash

A single vehicle crash early this past Thursday morning in Osceola county sent several people to the hospital, including a Cherokee man.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Donald Hobbs of Moville lost control of a 2002 Chevrolet pickup while rounding a curve on 230th Street east of Ashton. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled on its side. Hobbs and two passengers, 27-year-old Jose Guttierres of Cherokee, and 23-year-old Juan Manuel of Sioux City, were taken to a Sibley hospital.

The vehicle was totaled. Hobbs was cited for failure to maintain control.
