BVU Partners with Charles City Community School District

Buena Vista University has partnered with the Charles City Community School District to assist those in that community with cost. The partnership allows for employees of Charles City Community School District, as well as eligible family members of full-time employees to receive grant funding to help lower the overall costs with enrolled at classes at BVU’s Storm Lake campus.

The Charles City Community School District helps provide educational programs for 1,500 students in the Floyd County Seat. More than 250 staff members serve Lincoln Elementary School, Washington Elementary School, Charles City Middle School, CC High School, and virtual learning Innovative Campus.

Laura Todd, BVU’s Director of Strategic Partnerships commented on the partnership, saying that she is excited to pair with the Charles City Community School District, an organization she explains, “boasts many honorable distinctions and has a dedicated teaching staff.”
