BVU Agriculture Institute and Tyson Foods Partner to Create New Hands-On Learning Program

Buena Vista University’s Institute for Agriculture and Tyson Foods have joined forces to create the Tyson Fields of Learning program.

BVU Director of Agriculture Rich Crow says the program will give students of the university access to crop ground for research and hands-on learning opportunities…(audio clip below :23 )

The crop ground is located northeast of Tyson Foods new state-of-the-art feed mill in Storm Lake.

The program will allow BVU students to conduct research trials of new-to-market input products. Students will also use some of the crops they grow as feed for their BVU Meats Enterprise.
