An area resident spoke to the Buena Vista County Supervisors this (Tues) morning about alleged incidents involving Summit Carbon Solutions last week.
Bev McGriff informed the Board that Summit surveyors were surveying land in the northeast part of the county that their proposed pipeline would run through. McGriff said some of those landowners had not received survey notices before the arrival of surveyors.
Supervisor Kelly Snyder said at least one landowner reported the incident to the sheriff’s office, and talked about potential consequences Summit might face…
The proposed Summit pipeline would go through several northwest Iowa counties.
