The Buena Vista County Supervisors this (Tues) morning approved compensation board recommendations for wage increases.
Raises for elected officials include 3.5 percent for the supervisors, five percent for the auditor…four percent for the recorder/treasurer…six percent for the attorney…and 6.1 percent for the sheriff.
Secondary road employees, except the county engineer, receive a four percent pay increase. The supervisors also approved raises for non-elected officials as recommended by the comp board.
A public hearing on proposed property tax levies was set for March 25th.
