A reminder that the City of Storm Lake is offering a new holiday event this coming weekend.
“Breakfast With Santa” will be held on Saturday, December 16th from 9 to 11am at King’s Pointe Resort. Breakfast will be offered while kids share their holiday wish list with Santa. The event will be free to attend, and Santa will be available to visit with children until 10:45 Saturday morning.
The meal will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, cereal, biscuits and gravy, fruit, and juice. Balloon artist Professor Von Air will also be on hand to make balloon creations. Attendees will also have a chance to purchase a commemorative Storm Lake 150th anniversary ornament. The City of Storm Lake has produced a limited edition of the ornaments. Proceeds from ornament sales will go to local non-profits Upper Des Moines Opportunity and Santa’s Castle.
