UPDATE…the boil advisory was lifted Friday morning)
A precautionary boil advisory in Ida Grove will remain in effect until at least tomorrow (Fri) due to DNR requirements.
The City of Ida Grove will update the public as soon as the advisory may be lifted. The City reminds residents that it’s safe to use the water, but boiling is advised prior to consumption.
The boil advisory in Ida Grove was issued Wednesday morning following a power outage, as well as emptying of the water tower for painting, which caused depressurization in the system. A boil advisory was required once the water was turned back on. Drinking water has been donated to the city by the Battle Creek Fire Department, and can be obtained at Ida Grove City Hall.
