The very mild temperatures for this time of the year have been producing a not-so-desirable condition recently: dense fog.
Kevin Krull of the Iowa State Patrol says some of that has been very spotty and has been catching motorists off-guard. He says the early morning and overnight hours bring special challenges when temperatures are around or below freezing…

Krull adds it’s also important to drive with your low-beam headlights on when it’s foggy.
