This Grain Conditioning School will address natural hydration of stored grain to gain bushels which may otherwise be lost to shrink or field drying. To achieve this, the school will provide participants with hands-on training in grain conditioning concepts, planning, and the use of weather data, including the use of sensors and apps for aeration scheduling, hotspot detection, fan sizing, and aeration requirements. By improving grain quality, producers and stakeholders can often receive a higher price for the same grain that may otherwise be discounted. Lunch is provided.
