Suspect Arrested in Connection to Sioux City Shooting In Isolated Incident

Police have found and arrested the individual in connection to the fatal shooting this past Monday, June 26th in Sioux City.

Yasin Ahmed Abdi, age 20, has been arrested for the murder of 36-year-old Marlon White-Eyes. Shots were reportedly fired around 6:40 pm last Monday and when officers arrived on the scene, they found the victim (White-Eyes) suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

White-Eyes was taken to MercyOne in critical condition, later dying from his injuries. After further investigation, it was determined to be an isolated incident stemming from an altercation between several people prior to the shooting.
