Sioux City Police responded to a call in the 1400 block of West 3rd Street around 2 pm on Saturday (August 5th) after hearing reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers spotted blood in the street, which led them on a trail to a nearby home.
One shell casing has been recovered from a handgun. At this time, police haven’t located the person that was injured or the person who used the gun. The investigation is ongoing.
