Sioux City-West quarterback Tavin Irvine ran for a pair of touchdowns and passed for another and the visiting Wolverines defeated Storm Lake 20-0 spoiling the Tornadoes Homecoming game.
West outgained Storm Lake 243 to 101 for the game. The Wolverines had 193 yards rushing with Irvine gaining 71 on eighteen carries.
Storm Lake quarterback Paul Maya was 5-of-11 through the air for 22 yards and ran the ball 14 times for 43 yards. Marco Cortes-Oropeza ran the ball seven times for 42 yards.
Storm Lake falls to 1-4 and will host Sergeant Bluff-Luton next week and Sioux City-West improves to 4-1.
