Warriors Defeat Storm Lake Baseball Team

Sergeant Bluff-Luton turned a 2-0 deficit into a 3-2 win Friday night as they rallied to beat Storm Lake and hand the Tornadoes their first loss of the year.

Storm Lake would score two unearned runs in the 3rd inning. Hunter DeMey scored on a grounder to first base that was misplayed and Carson Lullmann drove in a run with a double to deep left center field.

The Warriors though, would plate a run in the 4th and score two more in the 5th of losing pitcher Jake Eddie who struck out ten in six innings.

Lullmann had two of Storm Lake’s seven hits in the game. SBL is now 4-1 and Storm Lake 2-1. The Tornadoes will play again Tuesday night at Newell-Fonda and the game will be broadcast on Mix 101.7FM KAYL
