The Storm Lake track and field teams did well at the Spirit Lake track meet Tuesday night. The Tornado girls placed 3rd out of 7 teams with Mackenzie Harder leading the way winning three events (100M, 200M, and long jump). Sylvia Kampbell won the 1500 and 3000, and Melanie Chantapangna won the high jump.
The Tornado boys placed 5th with 52 points. Joel Ramirez-Parra set a new school record in the 3200 finishing 2nd place in 9:50.3 Garnieno Weno won the 400.
The Storm Lake boys soccer team beat Spirit Lake-Okoboji 3-2 while the girls lost 8-0.
The Storm Lake girls tennis team lost to Le Mars 9-0….
