The Storm Lake boys golf team placed 6th out of 15 at Monday’s Spencer Invitational which was held at the Spencer Golf and Country Club.
Clear Lake won the tournament shooting a 303 and they were led by medalist Eli Anderson who shot an even par round of 72.
Spencer placed 2nd with a 312, Carroll-Kuemper was 3rd with a 313, Humboldt was 4th with a 321, Algona was 5th with a 324 followed by Storm Lake with a 327.
For the Tornadoes…
Charlie Dvergsten tied for 5th with a 76 and Trey Boettcher had a top ten finish as he tied for 9th with a 77.
Bobby Boeckman and Jayden Butler both carded an 87. Cam Boyd shot a 92, and Carson Taylor finished with a 97.
