Tornado Boys Hoops Team Takes Down East

The Storm Lake boys basketball team beat Sioux City-East for the first time since November of 1999 as they took down the Black Raiders 78-72 in a game played Tuesday night at Sioux City.

Cam Boyd scored 19 points, Garbieno Weno had 16, Tim Yanga and Trey Boettcher scored 15 points each, and David William added ten as the 3rd ranked Tornadoes move their season record to 19-2.

The Tornadoes will conclude the regular season Thursday night when they host Humboldt.
