With the upcoming basketball season fast approaching, Storm Lake basketball fans will have a tough time finding places to sit inside of Tornado Fieldhouse. Last year the Tornado girls played in a regional final and the boys made it to the state tournament for the first time since 1994. In the past week Tornado seniors Avery DeHaan, Cam Boyd, and Jaidyn Coon all made official announcements on where they will be attending college.

Cam Boyd (pictured below) announced Tuesday night that his choice is Briar Cliff in Sioux City. Click below to listen.
Jaidyn Coon (below surrounded by his coaches) announced back in May that he would be attending Creighton University in Omaha. Last Thursday he made it official. Also click below to hear the interview with Coon from this past May.
