Coming off of a triple overtime win the day before the Storm Lake boys didn’t miss a beat at Spirit Lake defeating the Indians 89-60. The Tornadoes scored 55 first half points and had an 83-47 lead heading into the 4th quarter.
Jaidyn Coon scored a game high 21, Trey Boettcher made 6-of-11 shots from the arc and tallied 18 points, while Cam Boyd made four 3-pointers and finished with 17, and Tim Yanga scored eleven of his 13 points in the 3rd quarter. The Tornadoes shot 59-percent for the game.

The Spirit Lake girls picked up their 10th win of the year defeating Storm Lake 66-30. They were led by Hayden Kuhlman’s game high 20 points. The Tornadoes, who fall to 6-8 overall, were led by Avery DeHaan’s 14 and Grace Kenkel added 11 points.
