Raider soccer teams split with Wildcats

–The East Sac County Raider soccer teams split with the West Central Valley Wildcats with the Raider girls winning 6-4, and the Raider boys falling to 1A #13 Wildcats 4-0

–The East Sac County Girls Soccer team picked up the victory at home vs West Central Valley 6-4. The Raiders started hot with Jordin Carroll passing to Kenna Meyer in the first seven minutes of the game for the early tally. Chloe Bieret added 2 goals in the next 10 minutes to give the Raiders the 3-0 lead. Down the stretch of the first half, Kenna Meyer and Chloe Bieret would both add another goal to give the Raiders the 5-1 halftime lead. East Sac extended the lead 2 minutes into the half on a goal by Kenna Meyer to go up 6-1. West Central Valley would settle in and tally the final three goals of the game as the Raiders would go on to win 6-4. Stats: Kenna Meyer 3 goals, Chloe Bieret 3 goals, Jordin Carroll 1 assist, Denae Thayer 4 saves. The win improves the Raiders to 3-1, and up next the Raiders play host to Kuemper Catholic next Tuesday

–The boy’s game saw 1A #13 West Central Valley knock off East Sac County 4-0. The Wildcats would open up the scoring with two goals in the first half to lead 2-0 at the break. The Wildcats would add two more tallies in the second half en route to the 4-0 victory. The loss drops the Raider boys to 2-2, and up next the Raiders play host to Kuemper Catholic next Tuesday
