Ridge View wrapped up regular season play with a 3-0 win over East Sac County this (Thur) evening in Early.
The Raptors scored all three runs in the 4th inning. Blake Myrtue got Ridge View on the board with an RBI double, which was followed by an RBI single by Caden Biede. Three batters later, Kellen Jensen got a sacrifice fly RBI.
Cael Myrtue was the winning pitcher, throwing the final 5 1/3 innings, giving up three hits, and had two strikeouts. Weston Drost, Luke Wernimont, Bradyn Burns, and Luke Wright all had singles for East Sac. Tyhler Kolpin had Ridge View’s only other hit in the 1st inning.
East Sac ends the regular season at 3-11. The Raiders Southeast Valley in a 2A district game in Dayton on Saturday night, which will be the 2nd game of a doubleheader, starting sometime after 7pm.
Ridge View is now 12-12. The Raptors host a 2A district double-header in Holstein on Saturday starting at 5pm. OA-BCIG will play MVAO-COU, and then Ridge View faces West Monona. Both games will be broadcast on 92.9FM KKIA.
