Hi, I’m Sammi Thompson, the General Manager here at Storm Lake Radio. While I’m new to Iowa, I’m no stranger to rural living. My son and I recently relocated from Wyoming, and we’ve absolutely fallen in love with Storm Lake!
I’ve been in radio since 2012, and I truly can’t imagine doing anything else. It’s a career that’s fun, fast-paced, and allows me to connect with incredible people every day.
When I’m not at the station, you’ll likely find me lost in a great book or catching up on Marvel movies (or rewatching them for the hundredth time). I’m proud to be part of such a vibrant, welcoming, and diverse community, and I’m excited to help Storm Lake continue to grow and thrive.

Hi! I'm Cam Martinez! I live in Odebolt with my husband and three dogs that we consider our “kids”- Ziggy, Abbie, and Nyx. In my free time you can catch me crocheting, walking with my dogs, eating out (huge foodie), being a bartending connoisseur or out thrifting! I am a very social person and love connecting with the community whether it is through helping businesses with their marketing, bartending on the weekends, or just out and about in Sac County!

My name is Brady McConaty. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I attended Buena Vista University and majored in business, with a concentration in marketing. While attending BVU, I played 4 years of football. Even though I did not grow up here, the Storm Lake area has become my home over the last 7 years. When I am not working, there is a good chance you can find me on a golf course, in the gym, or finding new meals to cook. I enjoy being out in our communities and connecting with others to help them grow their business!

Hi, I'm Scott Randall, Senior Marketing Consultant at Storm Lake Radio. I have been working with area business owners and managers since early 2013, helping them develop ideas and strategic marketing campaigns utilizing both Radio and Digital solutions. It's rewarding to see a business or organization grow as a result of our partnerships over the years. I actually started with the radio stations in a part time capacity in 1998, when I started doing color commentary with Sports Director Chris Boeckman during football and basketball seasons. I occasionally have broadcast sports events as a play by play announcer when we have a high volume of games to cover. In my free time, I have coached High School boys basketball in the area, as well as youth teams in baseball and softball. I'm also an avid Iowa Hawkeyes and Minnesota Vikings fan! I have been married to my wife Gale for 39 years. We have three adult children, Derrick (Rachele) in Storm Lake, Brady (Casey) in Gretna, Ne., and Hayley (Trent Bose) in North Bend, Ne. We also have 6 grandchildren, Quinn, Finley, Landon, Everett, Owen, and Riley, which also keeps us busy and young at heart. If you have questions about radio or digital marketing, please give me a call and I will be happy to visit with you, and help allow your business or organization to enjoy success!
