Mary Ann Shimon, age 93, of Pocahontas, passed away peacefully at Pocahontas Community Hospital on March 19, 2026.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 AM, Friday, March 27, 2026, at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church in Pocahontas, Iowa, with Fr. Paul Nguyen as celebrant.
Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Pocahontas.
A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 AM, Friday, at the church in Pocahontas, followed by a visitation from 9:15 – 10:30 AM, also at the church.
