Marcella “Marcy” Smith-Schoberg, age 97, of Pocahontas, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Pocahontas Community Hospital in Pocahontas, Iowa.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church in Pocahontas, Iowa, with Fr. Paul Nguyen and Fr. Craig Collison as celebrants.
Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Pocahontas.
A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 AM, Tuesday, at the church in Pocahontas, followed by a visitation from 9:15 – 10:30 AM, also at the church.
