Adella M. Nagengast, age 84, of Madrid, formerly of Pocahontas, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Madrid Home in Madrid, Iowa.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church in Pocahontas, Iowa. Celebrants will be Fr. Paul Nguyen and Fr. Tim Johnson.
Burial will take place in St. Columbkille Catholic Cemetery near Varina, Iowa.
Visitation is from 4 – 6 PM, Wednesday August 26th, at Powers Funeral Home in Pocahontas.
