The Buena Vista County Upper Des Moines Opportunity office in Storm Lake has been getting more demand for food and other services lately due to inflation and people getting laid off from their jobs.

Upper Des Moines Opportunity in Storm Lake accepts donations and applications for assistance during their hours of Monday through Thursday from 7am to 4pm, and Friday mornings from 7 to 11. Their office is located at 620 Michigan Street.
