Tyson Foods Recognizes Veterans Day with Local Donation and Team Member Recognition

The Storm Lake Tyson Foods pork plant leadership team hosted a fundraising event today (Fri) in honor of Veterans Day.

Following the event, which was held in conjunction with American Legion 115, Tyson presented a check in the amount of 808 dollars to Legion representatives.

The Tyson pork plant in Storm Lake employs both veteran and active-duty team members. Tyson also has an established Veterans and Friends Business Resource Group, which assists the company in becoming an employer of choice for military professionals, mentoring new military members, and communicating and engaging with team members in community events.
