A Snow Emergency will be in effect for the City of Storm Lake in the DOWNTOWN AREA ONLY this Saturday, December 17th from 2am to 6am to remove any drifted snow.
During the Snow Emergency…parking is not allowed on streets in the Central Business District between the hours of 2am and 6am…and parking is not allowed in downtown public parking lots designated as Lot B and Lot D. Vehicles found to be in violation of Storm Lake’s snow policy may be ticketed and/or towed.
Overnight parking in downtown public parking lots designated as Lot A and Lot C is allowed during a snow emergency.
