Some citizens in Ida County are opposed to a possible color change to the courthouse in Ida Grove.
At the county supervisors meeting this week, some citizens objected to plans to repaint the courthouse tan as part of renovation efforts. The courthouse has been red since the 1940’s. Over 160 people signed a petition to keep the color red.
The county is expected to make a decision this Friday.
