SB-L Hands Storm Lake Baseball Team First Loss

The Sergeant Bluff-Luton baseball team defeated Storm Lake 3-2 Friday night handing the Tornadoes their first loss of the season.

Storm Lake grabbed a 2-0 lead in the top of the 3rd inning as Hunter DeMey scored on an error and Carson Lullmann drove in a run with a double to deep left center field.

The Warriors however plated one run in the 4th and added two more runs in the 5th off of losing pitcher Jake Eddie. Eddie struck out ten batters in six innings and allowed only five hits.

The Tornadoes had seven hits and Lullmann collected two of them.

S-B-L is now 4-1 and Storm Lake is 2-1. The Tornadoes next game is Tuesday night at Newell-Fonda. The game will be broadcast on M
