O’Brien County Issues Burn Ban

A burn ban is now in effect in O’Brien County.

The ban, which is in place for unincorporated areas of O’Brien County, restricts outdoor fires of any kind including brush burning, cooking fires, as well as bonfires. Propane and charcoal grills are allowed provided they have a cover. The State Fire Marshall’s Office determined that open burning constitutes a danger to life or property.

Burn bans are also in effect for Plymouth and Sioux counties.
