A gallon of unleaded gas in Iowa is currently averaging $3.54, which is down five cents in the last week, and down eight cents in the last month. A year ago at this time, the Iowa average was $3.18.
According to Triple A Iowa, the Buena Vista County average is $3.56 a gallon. The Cherokee County average is the same as the state average at $3.54.
Diesel in Iowa is currently averaging $5.20 a gallon, and that’s down almost a penny in the last week, but over 50 cents higher than a month ago. A year ago, the average price for a gallon of diesel in Iowa was $3.45.
