A Holstein resident will help represent Iowa at a major national political gathering this fall. Lori Leonard Reyman, a member of Northwest Iowa Republican Women, is one of nine delegates from the Iowa Federation of Republican Women heading to Orlando, Florida, for the National Federation of Republican Women Biennial Convention, taking place September 25 through 28.
Reyman holds leadership roles at both the state and national levels, serving on the IowaFRW Executive Committee and as Public Relations Chair for the National Federation. Her involvement includes work on high-profile committees such as the RNC Convention Committee and the Inaugural Committee for Governor Kim Reynolds, reflecting her deep engagement in Republican grassroots efforts.
The Iowa Federation of Republican Women was founded in Tama County in 1939 and now includes local clubs and members across the state. The organization works to amplify the voices of women in the Republican Party and promote effective governance. IowaFRW members collectively volunteer more than 100,000 hours each year to support Republican candidates, educate the public, and inform the media.
The national federation, founded in 1938, is the largest grassroots Republican women’s organization in the country. This year’s convention theme is “Pursuing Greatness: 87 Years of Excellence Protecting and Defending America.”
