Four Contestants Compete for 2026 Clay County Fair Crown

Four young women from across Clay County will compete for the title of 2026 Clay County Fair Queen Sunday at the Clay County Regional Events Center in Spencer.

This year’s contestants are Madelyn Garcia of Linn Grove, Martina Harmon of Everly and Lilly Jepsen and Maggie Moser, both of Spencer. The pageant begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening to the public at 6:30.

The evening will include contestant introductions, the self‑expression portion and the crowning of the 2026 Fair Queen. Contestants will be escorted by Max Wittmaack of Peterson.

The young woman selected as Queen will serve as an ambassador for the Clay County Fair throughout the summer, appearing in parades and community events. She will also compete in the Iowa State Fair Queen Contest and take part in the 2026 Clay County Fair in September.

Contestants are judged on personality, attitude and awareness, leadership and citizenship, community involvement, overall appearance, charm, poise and self‑expression.More information about the Clay County Fair is available at claycountyfair.com.
