The Buena Vista County Sheriff’s Reserve annual Dance Auction Fundraiser is happening this coming weekend.
Sheriff Reserve Jason Butler says the event will take place this coming Saturday, February 11th at the Alta Community Center, with the doors opening at 7pm…(audio clip below :09 )

Butler says even though the overall cost to get a Reserve member outfitted has gone up in the last few years, their out-of-pocket expense has drastically dwindled thanks to the fundraiser event…(audio clip below :20 )
BV County Sheriff Kory Elston says they currently have seven members of the Reserve unit, which requires the same training as a fully certified law enforcement officer, and takes about two years….(audio clip below :21 )
