The Buena Vista County Conservation Board is presenting an “All About Owls” program this coming Friday, February 3rd.
The event begins at 6pm Friday in the South Shelter House at Buena Vista County Conservation Park. Attendees will be able to create an owl-themed craft, sip some hot cocoa or coffee and other refreshments, and meet the education barred owl. At 6:30 that evening, Naturalist Katie will present a short program on the owls of Iowa, followed by an owl prowl that begins at 7pm.
Reservations for the “All About Owls” event are required by this Wednesday, February 1st. To RSVP, call the BV Conservation Office at 712-295-7985.
