Aurelia Property Owners Invited to Plant Trees

Aurelia Hometown Pride is inviting property owners to participate in a community tree-planting initiative aimed at enhancing local neighborhoods and environmental health.

Eligible residents can request free trees to be planted in the right-of-way—the area between sidewalks and the street. The initiative, pending grant approval, is designed to improve curb appeal, reduce stormwater runoff, and support cleaner air.

Trees will be planted by Hometown Pride in coordination with IDNR and local students. Spots are limited. To apply, email aureliahometownpride@gmail.com or visit Facebook @AureliaHometownPride.
