135 Units of Blood Collected from LifeServe January Storm Lake Blood Drives

A total of 135 units of blood were collected from four LifeServe Blood Center blood drives held in Storm Lake during the month of January.

The amount of blood collected has the ability to save up to 405 local lives. The blood drives were hosted to support the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake, along with over 130 other hospitals that LifeServe Blood Center serves.

Two LifeServe blood drives are scheduled in Storm Lake this month, including this coming Tuesday, February 7th from 12:30 to 5:30pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church …and Friday, February 17th from 9am to 1pm at the United Methodist Church.
