The Storm Lake HyNoon Kiwanis Club is once again hosting the annual “Storm The Lake” Sprint Triathlon/Duathlon.
This year’s event will be on Saturday, August 20th at King’s Pointe Resort. Individuals can sign up for the “Storm Lake Lake” event for 50-dollars, and the cost for a relay team is 75-dollars.
The race will begin with a half-mile swim in the King’s Pointe bay, followed by a 12-mile bike ride around the lake and back into the transition area at King’s Pointe. The race is capped off with a 5K run along the lake and back to King’s Pointe.
“Storm The Lake” is sanctioned by the USA Triathlon governing body. Participants are required to purchase a one-day or annual USAT membership. For more information or to register, click here.
