Storm Lake Students to Perform in First-of-its-Kind Spring Play Later in June

A Shakespearean Play featuring Storm Lake students will be presented later this month.

Project organizer Callie Wobbema says the play called “A Modern Shakespearean Night Stream” came about because students wanted to put on a spring or summer show this year…(audio clip below :36 )

The shows are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 24th and 25th, starting at 7pm both nights in the Storm Lake Sunset Park Bandshell. The high school’s fall play is held in their auditorium, thus Wobbema says the outdoor aspect is new for those involved…(audio clip below :25 )

Over 25 students are involved in the production, ranging from incoming freshmen to outgoing seniors.
