A Fund-A-Cause initiative has been announced for the upcoming Storm Lake St. Mary’s Ball and Auction.
According to a news release, the local Catholic School is embarking on a mission to raise funds for the Teacher Salary Enhancement Fund during the Ball and Charity Auction, which will be held on March 9th at the Buena Vista University Forum. St. Mary’s aims to establish the fund to enhance competitiveness in teacher’s salaries and retirement benefits in response to the ongoing challenge of attracting top-tier teachers in a competitive educational landscape.
The news release says this move facilitates the recruitment and retention of high-quality teachers and staff for St. Mary’s, and the creation of an endowment holds strategic significance, offering sustained growth and support to teachers for years to come.
