The results are in for a special Storm Lake Community School District Physical Plant and Equipment Levy election that was held today (Tues).
According to unofficial results released by the BV County Commissioner of Elections, the public measure passed with 133 in favor, and ten opposed.
This will extend an existing tax levy in the district to help fund maintenance and facility needs. The $1.34 levy per thousand dollars of assessed valuation is now extended for an additional ten years. It was set to expire in June of 2026.
