The Storm Lake School Board on Wednesday approved an improvements project at the former Prairie Lakes AEA Building at 824 Flindt Drive.
The district purchased the building for a million dollars last year. District Chief Operating Officer Jeff Tollefson said they also budgeted another 500 thousand dollars to make necessary improvements…
The improvements project at the old AEA Building will cost about 367 thousand dollars.
In other business, the school board approved the purchase of teacher laptops and students chromebooks in the amount of just over 300 thousand dollars.
The board also approved a five-dollar increase in driver’s education instructor’s pay to 235 dollars per student.
