Storm Lake residents may have noticed a slightly cloudy appearance in their water this (Mon) morning.
The Storm Lake Water Plant has been performing maintenance on its lime softening system, which resulted in somewhat more suspended lime than normal.
Local water is safe to consume, and the City of Storm Lake says this is a temporary issue. Any cloudy appearance should clear up within a few hours. Questions can be directed to City Hall at 732-8000.
