Storm Lake Residents Can Help Fight Hunger This Weekend in “Stamp Out Hunger”

Storm Lake is among the communities participating in the national “Stamp Out Hunger” program this weekend.

The National Association of Letter Carriers event is designed to help people who are food insecure. Local residents can donate food by leaving it in or near your mailbox, and your local mail carrier will pick it up tomorrow (Sat). Non-perishable food is preferred. Go to the NALC website to see if your community participates.

Since it began in 1993, “Stamp Out Hunger” has collected almost two billion pounds of food.
