Superintendent Dr. Stacey Cole said the ILC was designed as a way to better serve kids in-house so they wouldn’t have to send as many to the district’s partnership school in Manson.

Richardson also talked about the middle school’s efforts to expand digital citizenship. Another goal she brought up is an infrastructure goal with the thought of making the middle school an environment that all stakeholders are proud of. Richardson said she joined a family engagement leadership institute this year so she could collaborate with other teachers from around the country, and that led her to create a family leadership team at the school this year.
