The Storm Lake City Council has two meetings scheduled this coming Monday, April 7th.
The council will meet in special session at 4:30pm to hold a public hearing on setting the maximum tax levy and rate for fiscal year 2025-2026.
The city council will then hold their regular session meeting starting at 5pm. The council will consider amending the city’s water conservation plan in connection with a request by Joyce’s Greenery. The council will consider an agreement with a company to allow recreational rental availability. A public hearing is expected to be set regarding the next fiscal year budget. The council will hear a quarterly update from Iowa Lakes Corridor Development, and the council will have a work session focusing on Storm Lake Proud Week.
