Rockwell City Man Pleads Not Guilty to Kidnapping, Sex Acts Allegations

A Rockwell City man has pleaded not guilty to an accusation that he confined a female in her room in an attempt to get her to engage in sex acts with him.

Calhoun County court records indicate that on March 30th, 33-year-old Justin Honeycutt allegedly entered the victim’s home, locked them in a bedroom, ripped off part of her clothing, and attempted to engage in sexual activity. The victim has a protective court order against Honeycutt in place.

Honeycutt faces four different felony charges. A jury trial is scheduled for June 3rd. He faces up to 45 years in prison if convicted.
